  4.   Since the introduction of our Courier 2400 modem, Bulletin Board
  5. Operators around the world have played an important role in the
  6. success of U.S.  Robotics, Inc.  Thousands of modems were sold to
  7. Bulletin Board Operators during the product's first year.  Since then,
  8. the ever-increasing demand of U.S. Robotics' product's in this most
  9. demanding application has served as an important testimony to our
  10. products' strength.  The support and confidence which bulletin board
  11. operators have shown in U.S. Robotics has allowed us to become a
  12. leader in the data communications field.  Our success has allowed us
  13. to continue to provide the bulletin board community with high quality
  14. modems at a favorable price.

  16.   You must currently be operating a bulletin board system in order to
  17. participate in this offer.  Buyers must sign the attached order form
  18. as an acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms outlined below.  If
  19. you are prepaying your order, please enclose this agreement and order
  20. form with your payment.

  22. TERMS:

  24. 1. The bulletin board system operator purchasing products under this
  25.    offer (the "Buyer") hereby warrants and represents that he/she is
  26.    currently operating a bulletin board system, and that the
  27.    product(s) are being purchased for Buyer's own use in operating
  28.    this system and not for resale.
  29. 2. Buyer understands and agrees that the number of U.S. Robotics
  30.    products purchased under this offer is limited to the number of
  31.    working data lines connected to Buyer's bulletin board system.
  32.    Products purchased must be used with the data line numbers listed
  33.    on the attached order form. Should these numbers change, Buyer
  34.    agrees to promptly notify U.S.Robotics.
  35. 3. Buyer agrees to post an appropriate notice visible at the start of
  36.    log-on to the bulletin board which states that the system is using
  37.    a U.S. Robotics modem(s).
  38. 4. Buyer intends to continue operation of the bulletin board system
  39.    for at least six (6) months from the date of this order.
  40. 5. PREPAYS: Buyer understands that no product will be shipped until
  41.    the attached order form and questionnaire have been completed and
  42.    returned to U.S.Robotics and personal or company checks have been
  43.    cleared through our bank.  Buyer understands that orders placed by
  44.    the attached order form cannot be changed after the order has been
  45.    submitted. Please allow TWO TO THREE WEEKS for delivery.  Send
